dangers-of-reckless-drivingEver ride with someone whose driving makes you nervous?  Maybe they are too quick to change lanes, maybe they are too hesitant.  Maybe their driving makes you cringe, grip your seat with white knuckles, and squeeze your eyes shut while scenes of your life flash by!  Drivers in other cars can be pretty scary too – texting while adjusting the radio!

Bottom line:  the person in the driver’s seat makes all the difference.

It’s true in traffic and it’s true in education – the person in the driver’s seat makes all the difference!  That’s why Global Student Network’s goal is to put parents behind the wheel when it comes to educating their children.

Pace.  When parents are setting the pace, they can determine how quickly or slowly a child moves through their learning.  To grasp the same concept, some kids need more time, others need less.  The curricula offered at Global Student Network are designed to move at the pace that fits the student.  Parents can easily track what is being covered and how long their student is working.

Climate control.  Because Global Student Network’s curricula can be accessed anywhere the internet is available, parents can determine the learning environment for their children.  Positive influences, encouragement, lack of bad words and bullies are not left up to chance – parents can proactively control these factors.

Route.  When parents “go Global,” they can choose the best route of learning for their individual child.  Global Student Network offers Christian curriculum, secular, honors, Rosetta Stone, Common Core, NOT Common Core, career training, and hundreds of electives.  There is a curriculum suited for every learning style.

Itinerary.  When and how learning happens is important.  Circumstances, travel, and special situations can make traditional education difficult.   With Global Student Network, parents can choose the schedule that best fits their family for their particular season of life.

Scenery.  With traditional school, kids come home at the end of the day tired and ready to fight with each other.  It feels like a marathon between school and bed as parents, also tired, have to hustle everyone through baths, dinner, and homework.  Reading time is hard to squeeze in.  This hectic life can leave families wishing things looked different at their home.  When families use Global Student Network, the scenery is much different.  There is more time for reading and building family relationships.  Parents get to enjoy “the firsts” firsthand – first words read, the first time the math light bulb came on, the first messy science project.  They don’t have to ask the kids at dinner what they did that day because they were right there, sharing the day with them.

If you’re not happy with your family’s educational journey, why not do something about it?  Let Global Student Network put you in the driver’s seat.  Go ahead – take the wheel and enjoy where the road takes you together!
