Welcome to Global Student Network, LLC (GSN). The following are the rules or “Terms” that govern use of the Global Courseware (GC) site (“Site”). By using or visiting the Site, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site. If you do not agree with these Terms in their entirety, you should not use the site.

Global Courseware (GC) and GlobalStudentNetwork.com (GSN) reserve the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Please check this page of the Site periodically. Your continued use of this site expressly binds you to any changes to these Terms, whether or not you subscribe to the above notification service.

If you violate these Terms of Use, GC/GSN may terminate your use of the Site, bar you from future use of the Site, cancel your orders or subscriptions, and/or take appropriate legal action against you.

Permitted Use

You agree that you are only authorized to visit, view and to retain a copy of pages of this Site for your own personal use, and that you shall not duplicate, download, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on this Site for any purpose other than to review the information therein, for personal use, or to purchase products or subscriptions for your personal use, unless otherwise specifically authorized by GC to do so. The content and software on this Site is the property of GC and/or its suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. We post a legal notice and various credits on pages of the Site, which may not be removed. Please do not remove this notice or these credits, or any additional information contained along with the notices and credits.

In the event you download software from any GC/GSN Site, the software, including any files, /school/images incorporated in or generated by the software, and data accompanying the software (collectively, the “Software”) are licensed to you by us or third-party licensors for your personal, non-commercial home use only. We do not transfer title to the Software to you. You own the medium on which the Software is recorded, but we (or third-party licensors) retain full and complete title to the Software and all intellectual property rights therein. You may not redistribute, sell, de-compile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the Software to a human-readable form.

IMPORTANT:
Courseware Users are NOT permitted to assign courses, assignments, assessments or any other content within the curriculum program without permission from GSN. Accounts will be monitored by our enrollment specialists for misuse of our system. Any misuse as stated above will be removed by GSN and any and all progress will be lost. All course additions and withdrawals MUST be made through your “My Account” area.

Links and Search Results

The Site may automatically produce search results that reference or link to third party sites throughout the World Wide Web. GC and GSN have no control over these sites or the content within them. GC/GSN cannot guarantee, represent or warrant that the content contained in the sites is accurate, legal and/or inoffensive. GC/GSN does not endorse the content of any third party site, nor do we warrant that they will not contain viruses or otherwise impact your computer. By using the Site to search for, or link to, another site, you agree and understand that you may not make any claim against GC or GSN for any damages or losses, whatsoever, resulting from your use of the Site to obtain search results or to link to another site. If you have a problem with a link from the Site, please notify us at support@globalstudentnetwork.com and we will investigate your claim and take any actions we deem appropriate in our sole discretion.

Unauthorized Use and Abuse of the Site

Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Site, whether for unauthorized framing of, or linking to, the Site, or otherwise, will be investigated and appropriate legal action will be taken, including, without limitation, civil, criminal and injunctive redress.

Violation of the Terms

You understand and agree that in GSN ‘s sole discretion, and without prior notice, GSN may terminate your access to the Site, cancel your product order or subscription, or exercise any other remedy available. You agree that monetary damages may not provide a sufficient remedy to GSN for violations of these terms and conditions, and you consent to injunctive or other equitable relief for such violations. GSN may release user information about you if required by law or subpoena, or if the information is necessary or appropriate to release to address an unlawful or harmful activity. GSN is not required to provide any refund to you if you are terminated as a User because you have violated these Terms of Use. Privacy

We believe that your privacy and the privacy of all our users is important. Please review our Privacy Policy. This policy applies to all the information you supply to GC and GSN. If you send electronic mail to any address in the globalstudentnetwork.com domain as a user of our Web Site, we will treat it as non-confidential and non-proprietary to you. By e-mailing GSN, you authorize us to use or allow others to distribute, reproduce or otherwise use the message. GSN is not liable for any lost data resulting from the operation of our site and/or the enforcement of the Terms. We urge all users to maintain their own backup versions of email they send to us.

GSN follows the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

Copyright Policy

We will terminate the privileges of any user who uses this Site to unlawfully transmit copyrighted material without a licensed express consent, valid defense or fair use exemption to do so. After proper notification by the copyright holder, or its agent, to us, and confirmation through court order or admission by the user that they have used this Site as an instrument of unlawful infringement, we will terminate the infringing users’ rights to use and/or access this Site. We may also, in our sole discretion, decide to terminate a user’s rights to use or access the Site prior to that time if we believe that the alleged infringement has occurred.

Disclaimers

GSN does not promise that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor that it will provide specific results from use of the Site or any Content, search or link on it. The Site and its Content are delivered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. GSN cannot ensure that files you download from the Site will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive features. GSN disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including also any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. GSN will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this Site, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, and punitive and consequential damages.

GSN makes no guarantee of any specific result from use of this site or any services offered by GSN.

GSN disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third party users, GC users, advertisers and/or sponsors on the Site, in connection with the GC/GSN services, or otherwise related to your use of the Site and/or the GC/GSN services. Without limiting the foregoing, you may report the misconduct of users and/or third party advertisers, service and/or product providers referenced on, or included in, the Site to GSN at support@globalstudentnetwork.com. GSN may investigate the claim and take appropriate action, in its sole discretion.

Limitation on Liability

Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will GSN be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including also lost profits, even if GSN has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Refunds

GSN does not issue refunds. GSN provides a FREE Demo for parents and students to use to ensure that the curriculum will meet their needs. The demo includes lessons from a variety of courses at many different grade levels. When a student is enrolled, the license is customized to their unique learning needs, and the license cannot be resold or reused. The license is valid for one year and can be used to supplement the student’s homeschool education, as needed, for the remainder of the year.

Disputes

If there is any dispute about or involving the Site, by using the Site, you agree that the dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to personal jurisdiction by and venue in the courts of the State of Nevada in the United States of America.   This Agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the state of Nevada. Venue shall be proper in Clark County, NV.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold GSN, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to, or arising from, your use of the Site.

Miscellaneous

Your use of the Service and the sites is at your own risk. GSN nor any of its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, agents, representatives or licensors shall be liable to you or anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of your access or use of, or your inability to access or use, the service and the sites and the information available on the service and the sites or arising out of any action taken in response to or as a result of any information available on the service and the sites. You hereby waive any and all claims against GSN and its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, agents, representatives and licensors arising out of your use of the service and the sites and the information available thereon.

GSN strives to provide you with an unsurpassed commitment to excellence. However, due to the inconsistent nature of the Internet, GSN cannot be held responsible for non access to our server or service. The member agrees that non access does not constitute grounds for a refund of payments. GSN will happily extend your membership in good standing for the equivalent period of non access.

SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information related to our SMS communication services. By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

   When you opt in to our SMS communication, we collect your mobile number and any other information you voluntarily provide, such as names or preferences. SMS Terms & Conditions

By providing your mobile number and opting in to receive text messages from Global Student Network, you consent to receive automated and/or manual messages from us. These messages may include updates, reminders, emergency notifications, enrollment information, and other communications relevant to your educational journey Global Student Network. Message and data rates may apply.

1. Opting In
   By opting into our SMS service, you acknowledge that you are the account holder for the mobile phone number provided or have the account holder’s permission to receive SMS messages on their behalf.
2. Message Frequency
   Message frequency will vary based on enrollment status, ongoing course activities, and your preferences. You may receive messages related to class schedules, assignments, events, policy updates, and other important announcements.
3. Opting Out
   To stop receiving SMS messages, you can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message from us. After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll in the SMS service.
4. Help & Support
   For help, reply “HELP” to any SMS, or contact our support team at support@globalstudentnetwork.com. We will be happy to assist with any questions regarding our SMS service.
5. Fees and Charges
   Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Please check with your mobile carrier for any fees associated with receiving text messages.
6. Changes to Terms
   Global Student Network reserves the right to change these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes to our SMS policy. Continued use of our SMS service following such updates indicates acceptance of the new terms.
