HENDERSON, NV, April 26, 2013 – International Virtual Learning Academy, an online school for grades K-12, is welcoming students from Ablaze Academy, now debunked. IVLA uses the same courseware as Ablaze did, making the transition possibly seamless.
Parents of Ablaze Academy students began contacting IVLA earlier this month when they could not reach anyone at Ablaze Academy, an online school based in Georgia. It appears Ablaze Academy is no longer in operation nor accredited. This was an abrupt, unannounced closing that left students in an educational lurch.
Many parents are choosing IVLA because it uses A+ Learning System and has enrollment specialists who are willing to evaluate each student’s placement and suggest a plan for their continued education.
“I just spoke with the International Virtual Learning Academy . . . and they are very easy to work with,” said Debbi Robic, an Ablaze parent scrambling for a replacement online school.
Eva Peduzzi, an administrator at IVLA, a virtual academy based in Henderson, NV, said today, “We really feel for these students. They have put in a lot of work and have nothing official to show for it. If we can, we will help them with transcripts whether or not they choose to continue with us.”
Although Ablaze and IVLA use the same online curriculum, they are not connected nor affiliated in any way.
Students or parents wanting more information about IVLA can go to www.internationalvla.com or call 877-878-6001 to speak with an enrollment specialist.
IVLA is a fully accredited, private online academy serving students since 2006 with research-based curriculum and certified teachers.
